Kudos to the Workforce and Women

Merely a couple of moments ago, I walked into my university 's brotherhood edifice to get a drink and sit downwardly and make some reading.

As I walked in, I heard some bagpipes playing `` Scotland the Brave '' ( LDS readers will cognise this as the melody to `` Praise to the Man '' Hundreds of people holded take in the ballroom to honour our veterans.

Centuries of ROTC plebes were there in frock uniform, but more impressive to me were the 100 of older people attendant - many of whom are presumptively veterans of the World war ii.

I make n't usually get emotional about loyal material, but I could n't aid but experience gratitude, awe, and humbleness at the service these workforces and women holded given to their nation.

As some of the older veterans were uttering with some plebes a couple of pes offly from me, I stood upwardly from my chair, and offered it to one of the older veterans standing near ME It was a little forfeit on my constituent, but it, along with my gratitude for their service, was the least I could offer.

To all those who hold functioned this state in the military, and especially those who hold given life and limb, thank you. I reward your forfeitures and service today.
